Tennis Tots was founded by two dads who wanted their girls to start a sport that has given them both a lifetime of happiness. We quickly realised that just balls and rackets would not hold their interest, so we invited their friends and invented a concept that combined excitement with learning.
David
Joey started tennis at around 8, (way too old!) and has never stopped. Representing Sussex at every age group, Joey still competes regularly. In 2019, Joey ranked number two in Britain for the ITF over 35 age group. He is a level 3 LTA Tennis coach and runs his own upholstery business.
Joey lives with his wife and daughter in Hurstpierpoint and plays at The Weald in Hassocks, where he served as Tennis Chairman for many years.
David grew up in Dorset and represented his county at Junior level. He still plays regularly at The Weald LTC in Hassocks representing his club. David works as a Financial Analyst and lives in Sayers Common with his wife and daughter. David is a level 1 LTA tennis coach and has also completed a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health.
